Where is the Festival Located?

The 2026 Berry Festival will be held in the Wine Pavillion area of the Stanthorpe Showgrounds

Can I bring my dog/animals to the Festival?

Whilst we love fur friends of all kinds, unfortunately on this occasion, your little loved ones will need to stay home.
This is a dog free event

What will the weather be like?

Accepted Answer

Summer in Stanthorpe is typically mild than what you would see in coastal areas.  Stanthorpe is well known as the coldest place in Queensland and  it is better to be over prepared and bring a few layers and warm jacket just in case!  Yes, a jumper in summer :)

Can I bring my own chair to the Festival?

Accepted Answer

No sorry. 
There is ample seating available in and around the Festival (all forms, sizes and styles), but if you would like to bring a picnic blanket, please feel free, as there is a lovely grassed area in front of the main stage.
The festival is not liable for any lost picnic blankets.

Where can we park?

Limited Parking is available on site (Club Road Entry)

There is also limited street parking in and around the Festival Location.  Please see Festival information for street parking details.

Please do not park over private residence driveways or on private curb

Can I bring my own food/drinks/esky?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot permit outside food/drink/eskies into the Festival.  The only exception is baby related food items/bottles.
There will be a variety of food stalls available on the day with many delicious savoury and sweet items to purchase

What if it rains on Festival Day?

Accepted Answer

The Festival is an outdoor event in the local showgrounds area and will go ahead rain, hale or shine.

There will be undercover shelter at the programming marquees along with other intermittent areas throughout the festival.

We recommend you bring an umbrella/poncho if the weather forecast is looking wet :)
